Iam the President and Principal of Van Hubly Investments, LLC.  I started this business to help the important people in my life with their investing needs.

My Background

I grew up in California, and earned my B. S. at the University of California at Davis in Agricultural Economics/Business Management in 1978.

I began my industry career at Charles Schwab in its San Francisco headquarters in 1978 and remained there for over 26 years.  I spent most of my tenure in sales and management, after early responsibilities that included Back Office Operations, Compliance, Internal Audit and Customer Service functions.  I eventually became the Regional Vice President in Charles Schwab’s Northwest region after a series of individual office and area management assignments ranging throughout Washington and California.  After leaving Schwab in 2004, I worked briefly as a Business Manager for Redmond financial planning firm, Kempf & Co., gaining practical skills in operating a financial business before striking out on my own with VanHubly Investments.  I have held industry licenses Series 7 (broker), 8 (Sales Supervisory/Branch Manager) and 24 (Financial Principal), and currently hold the Series 65/66 for Financial Advisors.

At Home

I have been happily married to my husband, Greg, since 1982.  Greg’s professional background is in technology project management and Internet consulting, and he serves as a technology and marketing advisor to Van Hubly Investments.  Our three children are Jessica, James, and Kyle, all well on their way to adulthood.  We live and have our home office in Woodinville, Washington.  We enjoy good food, wine, and friends, gardening, travel, and supporting our children in their activities.  I am an avid reader, bird watcher, and enjoy doing puzzles of all kinds.  I belong to the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce and the Eastside Audubon group.
